Job Summary
Assist students individually, in small groups, or in large groups using varied strategies to present or reinforce learning. Complete CPI crisis prevention intervention training during the first year and demonstrate ability to use or learn appropriate technology. Maintain a high school diploma or equivalent, an Associate's degree, or 48 credit hours at an Institution of Higher Education, along with a successful criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. Bilingualism is highly desired. Full-time employment with benefits begins 11/16/2026. Peabody prepares students to be life-long learners and critical thinkers in a diverse urban center.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPI training (crisis prevention intervention training)
- A high school diploma or equivalent; and an Associate's degree (or higher); or completion of 48 credit hours at an Institution of Higher Education; or completion of a formal Massachusetts endorsed assessment: Parapro or WorkKeys
- Ability to use or willingness to learn appropriate technology
- Required criminal history background check
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
