Job Summary
Assist the Special Education teacher in the classroom with activities designed to meet individual student needs; present skills reinforcements or guide independent study for individuals or small groups; become familiar with instructional materials and use them properly; maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality of student information; perform duties outlined in a student’s IEP and other job-related tasks as assigned by the Principal/Administrator of Special Programs.
Required Qualifications
- Associates of Arts degree or two years of post secondary education (60 credit hours) from an accredited college/university or proof of passing score on ParaPro Test
- valid Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Immunization Record (MMR) and Tuberculosis (TB) Test
