Job Summary
Guide independent study activities and present skills reinforcements to students as directed by the Special Education teacher. Familiarize yourself with instructional materials and learn proper usage. Perform duties outlined in student Individual Education Plans (IEP) and maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality regarding student information. Complete other job-related duties assigned by the Principal or Administrator of Special Programs. This ten-month full-time position begins at Grade 3 on the Classified Salary Schedule and includes employee benefits per Board policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates of Arts degree or two years of post secondary education (60 credit hours) from an accredited college/university
- proof of passing score on ParaPro Test
- a valid Level One, AZ, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Immunization Record (MMR)
- Ten-month, Full Time Position
- beginning salary Grade 3 on the Classified Salary Schedule
