Paraprofessional, Special Education Alternative Curriculum Program (ACP) (Rate Starts at $21.76 per hour)

Paraprofessional position in Special Education ACP program starting August 2026; assist teachers and professionals with educational activities, supervise and assist students with toileting and self-care, support transportation, help maintain classroom cleanliness, collect and record data, prepare teaching materials, implement structured behavior programs, ensure confidentiality, and collaborate with educational staff in both school and non-school settings. Requires ability to lift 50 pounds, physical stamina for a full-day with flexible attendance, and willingness to participate in professional development; state employment in Omaha Public Schools with 7.0-hour days, 10-month schedule, non-exempt status, and employment contingent on background check, U.S. work authorization, and required health screenings.
