Job Summary
Paraprofessional assists classroom teachers in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students, and supports classroom routines, safety, and transitions (including activities like field trips, meals, and cleanup). Requires assisting with student movement, and may involve activities such as feeding or diapering for health positions. Strong emphasis on supporting age-appropriate learning and maintaining a healthy, safe environment under building principal direction.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test
- OR 48 college credits or more
- OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
