Job Summary
Support students with disabilities in an academic environment at Lockport Township High School's East Campus Special Education Department. Collaborate with staff, parents, and students while effectively communicating in a diverse setting. Perform duties requiring regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds, along with specific vision and hearing abilities. This full-time, 10-month role offers a starting salary of $21.07 with access to IMRF pension, medical, dental, and vision benefits. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois Educator License with Stipulations for Paraprofessionals.
Required Qualifications
- A holder of a valid State of Illinois Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for Paraprofessionals
- Must regularly lift 40 pounds
- Must push/pull up to 100 pounds

- Must be able to tell where a sound is coming from
