Job Summary
Paraprofessional position supporting special education in a therapeutic elementary school during the 26/27 school year. Responsibilities include assisting in daily instruction and programming under the supervision of the Classroom Teacher, helping with daily living skills (toileting, hygiene, dressing, meals), collecting and recording data on student progress/behavior, assisting in report preparation, participating in professional development, helping develop and maintain a conducive learning environment, and implementing the established behavior management system with safety for all participants. Requires certification in Shore's approved behavioral safety training program (Safety Care or equivalent) and may involve summer employment. Pay ranges from $25.29 to $40.35 per hour, with benefits and competitive wages provided.
