Job Summary
Support students in achieving academic and social success by working alongside teachers to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support in inclusive and special education settings. Assist with student health and safety needs under staff guidance. This part-time, 10-month position begins in September 2026 with hours determined by final assignment. Salary ranges from $19.61 to $20.81 per hour, commensurate with experience and the collectively bargained agreement. Paid sick, personal, and bereavement allotments apply, along with participation in the NJ Division of Pensions & Benefits DCRP Retirement System.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required criminal history background check
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
