Job Summary
Paraprofessional, Resource role supporting classroom teachers to implement curriculum and school programs for student learning in a 10-month, full-time position. Responsibilities include providing direct instruction based on identified student needs in collaboration with teachers, using assessment tools to monitor learning outcomes, maintaining confidentiality, adapting curriculum with a collaborative team, assisting with record-keeping (logs, lesson plans, parent communications), and performing related duties. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a 2-year degree or 60 credits toward a 4-year degree or successful ParaPro assessment, CPR/first aid certifications, and a Fingerprint Clearance Card. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA match, and Arizona State Retirement System. Reports to the Principal, Teacher, or Program Specialist.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a 2-year college degree (AA from an accredited institution), 60 credits toward a 4-year degree or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, students and the public.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret educational documents.
