Job Summary
Paraprofessional position in PRO Pediatric Services within a local intermediate unit for the 2026-2027 school year. Provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities in K-12 settings (Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities, Life Skills classrooms). Responsibilities include assisting with mobility/positioning and personal hygiene as needed, supporting students in classroom activities, communication, and social interactions, helping implement behavior management strategies under teacher/therapist guidance, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and communicating student progress with teachers, therapists, and parents. Schedule is full-time for the 10-month school year (M-F 8am-2:30pm); Summers off with potential ESY. Must have an Associate’s degree or higher and at least one year of recent school-based experience; comfortable with computer use and completing district-standard documentation.
