Paraprofessional - Osage City Middle School

Support certified teachers in instructing students with disabilities as a paraeducator for TLEC. Implement developmentally appropriate strategies to aid language and motor development, social skills, and inclusion, following IEPs and guidance from licensed staff. Maintain confidentiality, participate in inservice hours, attend staff meetings, and assist with documenting student progress. May transport students and may require driving qualifications (CDL/defensive driving/Medic First Aid) to transport by bus, van, or car; serve as a positive role model and support a safe, inclusive learning environment. Report incidents promptly and assist with supervision during teacher absences; collaborate with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and adhere to district health and safety policies.
