Paraprofessional

Assist certified staff in the classroom to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer skills while administering tests and managing student behavior. Support students individually and in small groups, supervise non-instructional areas like lunch and bus duty, and accompany students on field trips. Construct educational materials, maintain records, and participate in IEP processes to maximize inclusion for students with special needs. Provide compassionate assistance to students with physical or mental disabilities and facilitate parent contact as requested. Perform duties under direct supervision while following all safety regulations and using standard office equipment.
