Job Summary
Support students with daily living activities, behavior management, and instructional support as directed. Prepare and distribute classroom materials, manage program equipment, and assist with non-classroom activities including arrival, lunch, and recess. Provide discrete trial training, social skills training, and task redirection while reinforcing instructional objectives introduced by teachers. Maintain accurate records, verify data accuracy, and implement classroom accommodations to support an inclusive educational environment. Arrive on time Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to perform non-teaching support services as a collaborative member of the educational team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state department of education license/permit as determined at the time of appointment
- Approved degree
- Completion of requisite higher
- Educational aide permit required
- Records free of criminal violations that prohibit public school employment
