Job Summary
Assist lead teachers with lesson delivery, classroom activities, and differentiated instruction while preparing materials and managing small groups or one-on-one support. Maintain a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment by supervising students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess, and reinforcing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Substitute for lead teachers as needed to ensure continuity of instruction and collaborate with staff on grading and administrative tasks. Full-time on-site position starting Summer 2026 with competitive hourly pay. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and passing score on a paraprofessional exam OR Associate's degree or higher
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Ability to successfully complete required Nevada state background checks and clearances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
