Paraprofessional, LEAP (Long Term Substitute)

Assist classroom teachers in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students. Support daily routines by managing transitions into and out of buildings, handling field trips, emergency drills, and classroom tasks like snacks, cleaning, and bathroom duties. For health positions, include feeding, diaper changing, and toileting children. Maintain a safe environment and perform other assigned responsibilities. This role requires passing the Paraprofessional test or holding 48 college credits or a Bachelor's degree, with experience in the appropriate age group.
