Job Summary
Assist classroom teachers by providing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students. Support routines, help students in getting to and from buildings, and assist during activities such as field trips and emergency drills. Maintain a healthy and safe environment, and handle tasks such as snack, dishes, bathroom breaks, and classroom cleanup. For HEALTH positions, duties include feeding, diaper changes, and toileting.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test
- OR 48 college credits or more
- OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
