Job Summary
Paraprofessional role supporting Kids' Company in a school-based program. Responsibilities include supervising and interacting with enrolled children, facilitating choice-based activities, monitoring interactions to encourage positive behaviors, and providing targeted support for social and emotional development. Requires partnering with district personnel to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and nurture each child’s growth in a safe, structured after-school environment. Shift is 3:30-5pm, Monday through Thursday, aligning with the school calendar; ideal for someone pursuing education roles, a parent seeking a few hours daily, or someone who enjoys making a difference in a child’s day. CPR/First Aid certification and a Minnesota driver’s license are required or must be obtained within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to become certified within the first 90 days of employment
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License
- 1-3 years of early childhood or youth programming experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
