Paraprofessional/ISS Instructor

Paraprofessional/ISS Instructor provides instructional and behavioral support to high-school students assigned to In-School Suspension (ISS) or content recovery. Uses the Edgenuity platform to monitor progress, deliver academic assistance, and ensure credit recovery; mentors students to support social-emotional growth and school engagement; implements behavior intervention plans and restorative strategies; collaborates with counselors and teachers to identify supports and coordinate coursework; maintains accurate student records and contributes to school-wide behavior initiatives. Emphasizes organization, de-escalation, and collaborative teamwork to help students transition back to the general education setting following ISS or content recovery.
