Job Summary
The Paraprofessional Instruction role at Oak Hill is focused on assisting in the implementation of students’ Individual Education Plans (IEP) by providing academic and vocational instruction to students individually or in small groups. Responsibilities include creating a supportive learning environment, assisting students in transportation, planning instructional content with teachers, conducting assessments, and modifying materials under supervision. The position supports the professional growth of its staff through training, education, and tuition reimbursement while maintaining a commitment to inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in education, child development or related field or enrolled in a higher education program that leads to a degree in education, child development or related field
- At least 5 years of experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Public Service license with a V endorsement during the initial employment period
- Acceptable driving record for operation of a student transportation vehicle
