Job Summary
Paraprofessional – In School Suspension at Adrian High School: supervise students assigned to the in school suspension room; assist students with stated action plans; communicate with principals, teachers, police liaison, and/or social worker; establish and maintain a harmonious learning environment and behavior management; maintain accurate records and submit reports as required; alert principals/teachers to issues; maintain confidentiality; supervise Saturday School when scheduled; require APS training and adherence to district policies; prior experience with school-aged children preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with school aged children
- Must successfully complete APS required training
- Must comply with APS rules, policies and procedures
