Paraprofessional, Health PreK-12 (2 of 15)

Paraprofessional supports classroom teachers in Health PreK-12 by implementing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students. Responsibilities include assisting with getting students in and out of buildings, supporting field trips and emergency drills, aiding with classroom routines (snack, cleanup, bathroom tasks), maintaining a healthy and safe environment, and, for HEALTH positions, feeding, diaper changes and toileting. Requires passing the Paraprofessional test or 48 college credits or a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Experience with the appropriate age group is preferred.
