Job Summary
Paraprofessional role supporting classroom teachers in Lowell Public Schools and Chelmsford, MA. Responsibilities include assisting with developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs (including ELL students), helping students into and out of buildings, assisting during field trips and emergency drills, supporting classroom routines (snack, dishes, cleanup, bathroom), maintaining a healthy and safe environment, and, for HEALTH positions, duties related to feeding, diapering, and toileting. Requires completion of the Paraprofessional test or 48 college credits or a Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test
- OR 48 college credits or more
- OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
