Job Summary
Assist classroom teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including work with ELL students. Help with getting students into/out of buildings and classrooms (may involve lifting/carrying), support activities such as field trips and emergency drills, and assist with classroom routines (snack, dishes, cleanup, bathroom and related tasks). Maintain a healthy, safe environment and fulfill responsibilities assigned by the building principal. For HEALTH positions, involve feeding, diaper changing and toileting of children.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test OR 48 college credits or more OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
