Job Summary
Paraprofessional for Health 5-8 assisting a classroom teacher with developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students; assist with student movement into/out of buildings, field trips, and emergency drills; support classroom routines (snacks, dishes, cleanup); maintain a healthy, safe environment and take on additional duties assigned by the building principal; for HEALTH positions, duties include feeding, changing diapers and toileting children.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test
- 48 college credits or more
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group
