Job Summary
Assist teacher with supervising and instructing students ages 1-3 (toddlers) as needed, reinforcing positive behavior and life skills, implementing curriculum, maintaining documentation, and supporting students' health and/or special needs. Provide health-care support (e.g., first aid, bathroom needs, medication administration, health records), create a positive, nurturing, and safe child-centered environment, and participate in required trainings and school functions. Role requires collaboration with teachers, families, and administrative staff to support early childhood education goals and student well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ECT or Group Leader qualified
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Must have Early Childhood Teacher qualifications through the Department of Human Services, Child Care Licensing
- two 3 credit college semester hours in Early Childhood Education and Infant and Toddler Theory and Practice or EQIT acceptable
- Must participate in Title IX training
