PARAPROFESSIONAL, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

PARAPROFESSIONAL role supporting early childhood education: assists with delivering instruction, care, discipline, and preparing instructional materials for three- to five-year-old pre-kindergarten students under the direction of the classroom teacher; participates in field trips and parent meetings; helps plan and evaluate student needs with the teacher, maintains classroom organization, communicates with teachers/administrators and parents, and participates in required trainings while upholding confidentiality and state licensing requirements for Child Care Centers. Bilingual preferred; Denver Public Schools requires living in Colorado and meeting ECE-related qualifications.
