Job Summary
ParaProfessional-E-LEARN ASST role supporting instructional goals by assisting certified personnel, participating in curricular activities, and supervising students. For Paraprofessional I: requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 60 semester hours (with 30 hours in general education core or child development/education) or successful ParaPro Test (457+), classroom experience, and computer-software proficiency; valid State Driver’s License. For Paraprofessional II: requires an Associate’s degree or higher, classroom experience, computer-software proficiency, and valid State Driver’s License. Location: Melbourne, Florida. Emphasizes instructional support in a school setting and ability to work with children in educational activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (I)
- Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited institution with 30 semester hours in general education core or child development/education or successful completion of the ParaPro Test with score 457+ (I)
- Experience working in a classroom setting with children (I)
- Proficiency in operation of computers, OS and office software (I)
- Valid State Driver’s License (I)
