Paraprofessional, CSA PreK-4 (Long Term Substitute)

Assist classroom teachers in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, including English language learners. Manage student transitions into and out of buildings and classrooms, which may involve lifting and carrying. Support activities such as field trips, emergency drills, and daily routines like snacks, cleaning, and bathroom use. Maintain a healthy and safe environment for children, performing assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed by the building principal. For health positions, duties include feeding, changing diapers, and toileting children. This long-term substitute role requires passing the Paraprofessional test or holding 48 college credits, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
