Job Summary
Assist classroom teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students by implementing concrete learning activities that meet varied developmental needs to students with and without special needs; also works with ELL students. Assist with getting students into and out of buildings/classrooms, including lifting and carrying. Support activities such as field trips and emergency drills. Assist with classroom routines (snack, dishes, cleanup, bathroom) and help maintain a healthy and safe environment. For HEALTH positions, duties may include feeding, diapering, and toileting children.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test
- 48 college credits or more
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group
