Paraprofessional - cross categorical (elementary)

Paraprofessional supports classroom activities in an elementary setting, working with small groups or individuals under the teacher's guidance; assists with remedial activities, materials adaptation, and creating an inclusive learning environment; provides personal care support as trained, helps with student mobility and behavior management, and may perform clerical tasks and instructional preparation. Requires a high school diploma or GED and an Educational Aide Permit (or eligibility to obtain one); must meet health requirements (e.g., TB test) and have a clear criminal record. Ability to learn required skills, communicate effectively, and collaborate with teachers is essential; some assignments may require first aid or CPR training. Travel to meetings and ability to lift/move supplies are noted as part of duties.
