Job Summary
Monitor large groups of students during recess, lunch, and other non-instructional activities. Communicate any problems to appropriate building staff and maintain confidentiality of student information. Physically assist students with special needs as required, including positioning, lifting, transferring, and crisis prevention. Assist students with transitions to and from transportation. Perform all other duties as assigned by the building principal or designee. This role supports students during activities not directly related to academic instruction within the WHRSD system.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to monitor large groups of students in various settings
- Ability to communicate any problems during these activities to appropriate building staff
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
- Be capable of physically assisting students with special needs as required
