Job Summary
Paraprofessional at David L. Rainer Elementary under Camden County School System. Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with classroom activities, preparing instructional materials and displays, and participating in in-service programs. Maintains confidentiality and professionalism regarding student and school system affairs. Qualifications include an associate’s degree or higher (or 60 college hours with a C or better) or successful completion of the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment plus a high school diploma/GED. Required Qualifications
- Hold an associate's degree or higher in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution.
- OR Have completed two years of college coursework (60 semester hours) above remedial level with a grade of 'C' or better at a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution.
- OR Have passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment and hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Assist teacher with classroom activities; prepare class displays, bulletin boards, and other instructional materials
- Participate in in-service school programs
- Maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding student and school system affairs
