Job Summary

Implement evidence-based behavior and instructional strategies to support students with developmental disabilities and significant interfering behaviors. Build positive relationships while maintaining dignity, and administer medications and provide personal care as required. Follow Behavior Intervention Plans and crisis-prevention procedures with fidelity, ensuring consistent routines and visual supports across all school environments. Collect and record accurate data on IEP goals and behavior reduction targets to inform instruction. Maintain a clean, safe learning environment and collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and families to promote student independence and academic success.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including maintaining continuous alertness, providing direct supervision, driving individuals served as required, and administering medications as trained

Desired Qualifications

  • College coursework in education, psychology, or related fields
