Job Summary
Paraprofessional needed at Timberland Charter Academy for the 2026-27 school year. Role involves instructional support with 1:1 or group interventions, assisting classroom teachers and instructional leaders, and implementing result-driven curriculum to promote student growth from fall to spring. Requires helping educate the whole student academically, morally, and socially; participation in professional development and meetings with teachers and parents; and alignment with Title 1 paraprofessional state requirements. 35 hours per week, full-time, located in Muskegon, MI. Timberland Charter Academy emphasizes student support services, collaborative administration, and ongoing coaching and development for staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional
- Experience working in a school or with school-age children (preferred)
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics
- Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems
