Paraprofessional at Johnston Charter Academy

Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader. Commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially while implementing result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing. Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required. This role supports K-8 students at Johnston Charter Academy in Clayton, NC, within a positive community culture led by a strong Dean team who understand instruction and have classroom experience.
