Job Summary
Paraprofessional role supporting direct instruction for Boston Public Schools students in grades K-6 under the ABA framework; duties include assisting with instruction in various settings, preparing instructional materials, classroom set-up, managing behavior, supervising field trips, and supporting teachers and school staff. Preferred qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree, teacher certification or social work license, and language proficiency in BPS official languages. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Forty-eight (48) Credit Hours of College Coursework or an Associate's Degree, or a passing score on ParaPro Assessment or WorkKeys Certificate of Proficiency for Teacher Assistants
- Minimum of two years experience working with young children
- Current authorization to work in the United States by start date
