Paraprofessional ages 6-21 - Multiple Positions (Students with Significant Disabilities)

Assists the Special Education Teacher in meeting the goals set forth for students in their IEPs. Performs duties under direct supervision including implementing tutorial activities (small group/individual), toileting/hygiene procedures, medical record keeping, and preparation of class work. Handles physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, moving between program areas, and various mobility tasks; requires motor coordination, dexterity, and acute sensory abilities. Supports instructional process, collects data, monitors progress, assists with PBIS and classroom routines, and participates in meetings as required. Adheres to district policies, maintains confidentiality, and participates in ongoing professional development. 7.5 hours per day, 180 days, with a probationary period of 6 months, at-will employment.
