Paraprofessional ages 6-21

Assists the Special Education Teacher in meeting the students' IEP goals; supports instructional activities, attends to medical/hygiene procedures, and helps manage classroom routines and data collection. Responsibilities include implementing tutorials (small group/individual), assisting with medical procedures (e.g., tube feeding, oral suctioning, catheterization, medication administration), maintaining instructional materials, supporting PBIS and disciplinary procedures, attending meetings, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, physical stamina, and the ability to perform tasks across classroom and potentially multiple program areas. Must be at least 20 years old, meet minimum qualification options (ParaPro, college coursework, or an associate degree), be computer literate, and complete required trainings. 7.5 hours per day, 180 days, with a probationary period and at-will employment as outlined by the district.
