Job Summary
Paraprofessional in Lowell Public Schools supports a classroom teacher by delivering developmentally appropriate activities for students with and without special needs, assisting with student transitions into/out of buildings, field trips, and daily routines (snack, cleanup, hygiene). This role may involve lifting/carrying students and maintaining a healthy, safe environment; for HEALTH positions, duties include feeding, changing diapers, and toileting children. Preference for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test, OR 48 college credits or more, OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
