Assist teachers with teaching-related activities and non-teaching assignments in a nine- to ten-month school calendar. Provide classroom support by reading instructions to pupils, supervising lessons, reading stories, dictating directions such as spelling, supervising groups, assisting with routine classroom behavior under direct supervision of teachers, and helping with both instructional tasks and materials management (including organizing and filing materials and using audio-visual equipment). Duties include working one-to-one with children or with groups, aligning with Title I and Special Education guidelines, and performing other duties as assigned by evaluators or principals.
