Paraplanning Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of paraplanners while undertaking day-to-day paraplanning duties alongside them. Recruit, manage, train, and mentor staff; conduct first-line quality checks on reports, turnaround times, and process adherence. Oversee client financial analysis to develop lifetime planning strategies, prepare cash flow modelling, pension forecasts, and recommendation reports. Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and standard operating procedures, including maintaining suitability templates and supporting client work with relevant paperwork. Monitor team workflows, performance, and individual capacity through regular one-to-ones and facilitated meetings. Liaise with financial planners and client services to handle escalations and facilitate regional collaboration forums.
Required Qualifications
- Full Qualified Paraplanner
- Previous experience of mentoring, coaching, leading and/or managing others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport, influence, be approachable with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to roll out new processes to team members
- Previous background working within a IFA or Financial Services organisation
- Highly organised, self motivated and proactive
- Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel and Word
- IT literate
- Full time, permanent role
- primarily be office based with the opportunity to work hybrid after probation
