Job Summary
Paramedic to join Retina clinic teams based out of Cedar Falls or Waterloo; duties include assisting the physician, rooming patients and obtaining medical histories, documenting into the electronic medical record, providing patient education, completing prior authorizations for procedures, scheduling/scheduling adjustments for clinic and surgical appointments, triage of phone calls, administering injections, and travel to other offices for clinic as scheduled; perform other clinical duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Paramedic certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required
