Job Summary
Paramedic position aboard ProMed ambulance services in Michigan. Requires current Michigan paramedic license and ACLS/BTLS/CPR certifications. Responsibilities include assessing illness/injury, restoring and stabilizing heart rhythm, monitoring patients, initiating IV therapy, administering medications, performing endotracheal intubation, providing initial emergency treatment and patient vitals, coordinating care with inter-agency personnel, operating vehicles safely, documenting patient care, and ensuring shift readiness. Rotating shifts (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) and opportunities for advancement. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Current Paramedic license from the State of Michigan
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support) certification
- CPR certification
- Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license with safe driving history
