Job Summary
The Paramedic (EMT-P) will provide optimal emergency medical services following directives from the EMS Coordinator and Medical Director. Responsibilities include operating ambulances in accordance with state laws, assisting in patient care, attending squad meetings, maintaining required education, and following safety and health protocols while handling high-pressure situations and potential hazards. The role requires excellent communication skills, physical endurance, and the ability to make critical decisions in emergency scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- Have and maintain a current National Registry EMT-P and WY-EMS license
- ICS 100, 200 and 700 certified within 30 days of employment
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
- PHTLS
- Excellent patient care skills
- Professional and discrete manner at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively and verbally as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
