Job Summary
Administer basic and advanced life support treatments while safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles. Deliver competent patient care across various settings by applying EMS procedures and interacting professionally with healthcare personnel. Document information accurately in the charting system, assist fellow providers with reports, and maintain equipment, cleanliness, and restocked supplies. Maintain clear communications with the Dispatch Center and adhere to company policies and protocols. This role supports MMT Ambulance's mission of providing efficient, reliable interfacility ambulance transportation for healthcare partners. The team utilizes AI-powered technology and state-of-the-art dispatch centers to ensure on-time, effective operations for our growing fleet of 500+ vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Paramedic certification
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Current CPR
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment
- Bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull objects over 50 lbs
- Maintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations
