Paramedic Special Events

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. This per diem role requires a State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification, along with a compliant driving record and physical agility test.
