Job Summary
Conduct patient assessment, including physical examination, First Aid, Basic Life Support, airway management, ventilator support, circulatory and shock management, clinical assessment, orthopedic care, medication administration, obstetrics, medical and trauma care, and patient extrication. Perform intravenous therapy, endotracheal intubation, defibrillation, and drug administration where approved. Manage telecommunication, radio communications, and dispatch of resources while gathering, reporting, and documenting according to established procedures. Operate emergency vehicles and ambulances safely, adhering to defensive driving standards and park geography. Execute inspections, inventory, maintenance, and cleaning of grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Response Plans, and infection control protocols. Complete monthly facility inspections, safety training, and safety reports. Assist with ride unloads, fire system checks, and park-related audits. Maintain a clean, safe working environment compliant with O.S.H.A. regulations.
Required Qualifications
- currently certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an EMT-P or Licensed Paramedic
- in good standing with TDSHS
- good communication and leadership skills
- Texas driver's license
