Job Summary
Provide critical care level transport for interfacility transfers of injured and ill patients within a station-based ALS unit. Operate emergency vehicles safely per EVOC standards while documenting and maintaining accurate medical records using the ImageTrend Elite electronic charting system. Complete all in-house carded classes for state licensure and National Registry requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and FEMA courses. Work varied 12-hour shifts in days, nights, or swings with applicable differentials.
Required Qualifications
- FLIGHT PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION (FPC) OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN IT
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Current New Mexico driver's license without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire
- At least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- New Mexico Paramedic license
- Current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
- Up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Pass physical abilities assessment
- Obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of on-boarding
