Job Summary
Provide critical care level interfacility transportation (IFT) coverage for injured and/or ill patients in northern New Mexico using a station-based ALS model. Document and maintain accurate medical records for all patient encounters through the ImageTrend Elite electronic charting system. Operate emergency vehicles safely in compliance with EVOC standards. Work three 12-hour shifts in days, nights, or swings with a slower pace outside of 911 response.
Required Qualifications
- FLIGHT PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION (FPC) OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN IT
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Current New Mexico driver's license without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire
- At least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- New Mexico Paramedic license
- Current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
- Up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Pass physical abilities assessment
- Obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of on-boarding
