Job Summary
Provide critical care level care for interfacility transportation of injured and/or ill patients in a station-based ALS unit covering northern New Mexico. Operate emergency vehicles safely per EVOC standards while documenting and maintaining accurate medical records using the ImageTrend Elite electronic charting system. Work rotating 12-hour shifts in days, nights, or swings within a slower-paced, supportive team environment focused on clinical excellence and community health.
Required Qualifications
- FLIGHT PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION (FPC) OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN IT
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Current New Mexico driver's license without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire
- At least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- New Mexico Paramedic license
- Current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
- Up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Pass physical abilities assessment
- Obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of on-boarding
